For the first time in its history, McDonald’s is offering its iconic Big Mac Sauce in dip cups at participating locations exclusively through the McDonald’s app.
Introduced back in 1968, the famous Big Mac Sauce recipe, which has now been perfected for over 50 years, consists of a combination of simple ingredients, including sweet relish, water, soybean oil, egg, onion powder, salt, garlic powder, mustard seed, and spices, among others.
Each Big Mac Sauce Cup contains 140 calories, with about 90% of those calories coming from fat and only 10% from carbohydrates. It’s also worth mentioning that, despite including egg yolks in its fine-tuned recipe, the beloved sauce has no protein whatsoever.
