McDonald’s Bacon BBQ Burger

McDonald’s just added a new burger to the menu called Bacon BBQ Burger that has bourbon BBQ sauce and contains 710 calories. There’s also a Double Bacon BBQ Burger, which has double the beef that contains 920 calories.

McDonald’s new Bacon BBQ Burger is made with 100 percent fresh beef that, according to the fast-food chain, is cooked to order and comes topped with Applewood smoked bacon, crispy onion strings, and bourbon BBQ sauce on an artisan roll.

Last year, McDonald’s started offering a similar product called the “Bacon Smokehouse Burger” that was part of the chain’s Signature Crafted lineup, but it was discontinued earlier this year. It featured a quarter-pound fresh beef patty, two slices of white cheddar cheese, mild sweet mustard sauce, Applewood smoked bacon, fried onion strings, and bacon onion sauce, served on an artisan roll. However, the Bacon Smokehouse Burger had way more calories and a lot more fat.
