Taco Bell offers a new take on the classic chicken sandwich with the debut of its new Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco.
Hailed as a game changer by many, the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco is available in two varieties: Regular and Spicy.
The regular Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco, which comes out to about 280 calories, features all-white meat crispy chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, seasoned with bold Mexican spices and rolled in a crunchy tortilla chip coating. It’s served on a warm soft flatbread shaped in the form of a taco and flavored with Taco Bell’s signature creamy chipotle sauce.
The Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco, on the other hand, contains 290 calories and features the same build and quality ingredients, but with the addition of crunchy jalapeño peppers for those who like an extra kick.
As mentioned earlier, the regular Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco clocks in at 280 calories, with most of those calories – 132 – coming from carbs. This means that about 47 percent of the calories in a Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco are from carbohydrates. Thirty-five percent of the calories are from fat, which contributes 99 calories per serving. Protein contributes 52 calories per serving, taking up about 18 percent of the new taco’s total calorie content.
