Krispy Kreme Chocolate Iced Glazed Donut

Krispy Kreme produces an expansive selection of donut varieties, but their classic Original Glazed and Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnuts are outstanding and second to none. Not to mention they’re healthier than some other common varieties such as the new Filled Doughnuts and the Cake Batter doughnut which clocks in at 300 calories and 45 grams of carbs.

The Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut features a yeast ring donut topped with chocolate icing. It’s essentially an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in smooth chocolate icing.

For comparison, a classic chocolate donut has 50 more calories and 11 more grams of carbs than an Original Glazed doughnut. It also has more sugar content and a bit more sodium, but they both contain the same amount of protein which is 3 grams.
