Krispy Kreme takes its iconic Original Glazed Doughnut and fills it with their classic Kreme. The result is a delight called the Original Filled Doughnut that’s only 280 calories per serving. But it is important to know that most of the calories come from fat and carbs.

There’s probably nothing better than an Original Glazed Krispy Kreme donut that just came out of the oven. But the chain’s new original glazed doughnuts stuffed with Kreme filling takes the Krispy Kreme experience to a whole nother level.

Developed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the new Original Filled Doughnut is a permanent menu addition that features a glazed yeast ring stuffed with cream filling.

Originally available in Classic Kreme and Chocolate Kreme varieties, the original filled donuts feature a drizzle of white or chocolate icing to indicate the what type of filling they have.

Compared to the Original Glazed, the filled donut has 47 percent more calories, 36 percent more fat, and 54 percent more carbs, while maintaining the exact the same amount of protein.
