McDonald’s Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich

McDonald’s just added their new Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich to menus nationwide and everyone’s going crazy over it. But the big question now is, will it make me fat? And, how many calories does it have?

As with most fast food menu items, fried chicken sandwiches can cause problems if you eat them regularly. However, these foods are not necessarily bad and unhealthy when eaten occasionally, but they can sabotage your weight-maintenance or weight-loss efforts if you eat too many too often.

I know we’ve said this many times already, but it bears repeating: Portion control is key.

With that said, the McDonald’s Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich has 530 calories, and most of those calories come from carbs. It consists of a crispy buttermilk chicken filet made with all white meat chicken, silvered onions, pickles, and a smoky BBQ sauce on a sesame seed bun.

McDonald’s is also offering new Spicy BBQ Glazed Tenders. If you’re interested, you should check them out here Spicy BBQ Glazed Tenders.
